Raised Here. Raised Right.
Pasture first
Our sheep spend their days outside on Minnesota pasture, where they can graze, move and live the way sheep were meant to live.
We believe good pasture is one of the most important tools we have as livestock producers.
Thoughtfully Finished
Our lambs receive a grain supplement as they grow and are finished on grain.
We prefer the flavor, tenderness and overall eating quality that comes from a properly finished lamb—and we want to provide our customers with the same quality we want for our own family.
Genetics matter
We’re building our flock around Dorper genetics selected for the traits we value most: soundness, hardiness, maternal ability, growth and meat quality.
Every generation is an opportunity to improve.
We pay attention to the details
Good livestock doesn’t happen by accident.
From animal health and nutrition to pasture management and genetics, we believe the little decisions add up to a better animal and, ultimately, better food.
It all ends at the dinner table.
Our goal isn’t simply to raise an animal that looks good in the pasture.
It’s to raise an animal that produces excellent food.
Because ultimately, that’s what this is all about.
